The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has canceled work it had planned this weekend between Butler Valley and Warrendale.

In a release, the commission said the work between mileposts 31 and 38 will be rescheduled. There will be no lane closures or construction-related delays in that area Saturday or Sunday, as the commission had previously announced.

The commission gave no reason for the postponement of the work but had said originally it would be contingent on the weather.
