RURAL VALLEY -- West Shamokin notched its second win in as many days with a 1-0 victory over St. Joseph's in a Section 2-A matchup on Tuesday.

Kody Troutman recorded 13 saves to get the shutout, and Aaron Buzzard scored the Wolves' only goal.

Buzzard's goal, his 15th of the season, was unassisted. When West Shamokin's defense cleared the ball, all of St. Joseph's players missed it, including the goalie, who came out of the net. Buzzard chased down the ball and had an open shot on the net. The goal came with 34:22 remaining in the game.
