A $3.9 million repair project to the Westinghouse Bridge in North Versailles will restrict traffic to the eastbound lanes beginning today. Traffic has been limited to the westbound lanes, but PennDOT officials said they must shift the traffic flow to the other side of the bridge to accommodate the repair work.

Motorists should expect delays between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. today and Tuesday as the change is made. After the transition is complete, single-lane traffic in each direction in what are normally the eastbound lanes will continue until mid-December, when construction will stop during the winter.

Single-lane traffic will begin again in the spring.
