• Burglary, Wencliff Lane residence entered by pushing out wood securing front window. Stolen items included an Xbox, Wii system, 12 PlayStation games and 42-inch, flat-screen television.

• Criminal mischief, pellet or BB gun used to shoot out window and damage metal sign at CH&D Enterprises Inc.

Sewickley Township

• Theft, two weed-cutting tools from front yard of Sewickley Avenue residence.

Charges filed

• Joshua David Jack, 27, of Ford City, by state police with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and harassment for allegedly assaulting staff at Torrance State Hospital. Jack, a patient at the facility, was removed and lodged in Westmoreland County jail. Staff member sustained minor injuries. Charges filed with Derry Township District Judge Mark Bilik.

• Tommi Barber, 27, of 136 N. Gallatin Ave., Apt. 2, Uniontown, by city police with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly taking a woman's wallet from under her arm as she shopped on May 19 at the CVS pharmacy on Pittsburgh Street, and for distracting a woman as she was seated in her car in a parking lot at Teaz Tanning on Pittsburgh Street on May 29 and allegedly taking her purse. Charges filed with Uniontown District Judge Michael Metros.
