• Burglary, Wencliff Lane residence entered by pushing out wood securing front window. Stolen items included an Xbox, Wii system, 12 PlayStation games and 42-inch, flat-screen television.
• Criminal mischief, pellet or BB gun used to shoot out window and damage metal sign at CH&D Enterprises Inc.
Sewickley Township
• Theft, two weed-cutting tools from front yard of Sewickley Avenue residence.
Charges filed
• Joshua David Jack, 27, of Ford City, by state police with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and harassment for allegedly assaulting staff at Torrance State Hospital. Jack, a patient at the facility, was removed and lodged in Westmoreland County jail. Staff member sustained minor injuries. Charges filed with Derry Township District Judge Mark Bilik.

Gallatin Ave., Apt. 2, Uniontown, by city police with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly taking a woman's wallet from under her arm as she shopped on May 19 at the CVS pharmacy on Pittsburgh Street, and for distracting a woman as she was seated in her car in a parking lot at Teaz Tanning on Pittsburgh Street on May 29 and allegedly taking her purse. Charges filed with Uniontown District Judge Michael Metros.
