The Westmoreland Trust, who owns the Palace Theatre in Greensburg, is looking for submissions for inclusion in a book, "Tales from the Palace."

The book will be a memoir of the building that has been host to many first kisses, marriage proposals, birthday celebrations and other special moments. Members of The Trust are compiling the book with memorable stories from the community about a visit to The Palace Theatre or its predecessor, The Manos Theater.

Those who would like to have their personal story or experience considered for the book should send submissions by e-mail to thetrust@stargate.net or by fax at 724-836-1653.

Donations to help defray costs of replacing the building's marquee are also being accepted and can be sent to The Westmoreland Trust, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg PA 15601.

For more information, call 724-836-1123.
