Members of eight grade teacher Kristin Kuhns fifth period writing class, pose for a portrait as part of Mary Ellen Raneri's installation art piece 'Write On', in the gym of the Ligonier Valley Middle School, on Thursday, Dec. 07, 2017. The piece was inspired by Mexican artist Pia Camil.

Inspired by the work of Mexican artist Pia Camil, former Ligonier Valley Middle School writing and composition teacher Mary Ellen Raneri, worked with the fifth period writing class to create a piece of installation art. Her message is “writing is a work of art … they paint on a canvas that is limitless.”
