What should be done with Mellon Arena?

Now that the Penguins want to build a new hockey arena, the fate of 41-year-old Mellon Arena is in question. While some citizens argue that the arena should be razed, others want to save the Igloo.

Mellon Arena (formerly the Civic Arena) may be preserved as a City Designated Historic Structure and some citizens are exploring ways that it could be re-used.
