As long as the president is going to stick our nose in other countries' business, he should stipulate what is meant by consequences.
After all, a threat has no meaning if the consequences are not perfectly clear.
Henceforth, beginning with Ukraine, I suggest the consequence simply be that the United States will permanently transpose its executive and legislative branches to the country in question.
Potential result: We may get rid of the trash in Washington and provide that country a president and Congress that will really screw things up — that is, if the country in question isn't smart enough to take heed of the threat.
