Who's hot

If there has been a hotter Steelers wide receiver over a short period of time than Hines Ward, he's in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Ward has had an incredible string of games in the past four weeks, catching 38 passes for 483 yards and four touchdowns. Ward is second in the NFL with a total of 76 catches for 914 yards and a league-high (for receivers) 10 touchdowns. He needs 15 catches in the last six games to break his team record that he set last year. He is 484 yards short of Yancey Thigpen's mark for receiving yards.

Who's not

There is no denying that linebacker Joey Porter appeared to be heading to the Pro Bowl after recording six sacks in the first five games of the season. In the past five, however, he has one sack. Plus, he missed a few tackles in the loss to the Tennessee Titans last week that were included in coach Bill Cowher's public comments two days later.
