Thank you for publishing the Business story “Center for Sustainable Shale Development aims to raise standards” . The article was well done and very informative.

Shale development is sustainable because it allows us to use affordable, abundant natural gas in a way that protects the environment and makes it possible to maintain the energy-intensive standard of living we, as Americans, have come to expect.

Wind and solar provide less than 2 percent of all the energy we use. Natural gas can provide the energy we need, because renewable energy just isn't capable of doing so yet.
