A dying 86-year-old New York City widow is suing her stepson for allegedly stealing the cemetery plot she planned to share with her dead husband.

In her suit, Adlin Cammack claims she gave Errol Cammack $1,400 to buy a "double depth" plot at the Kensico Cemetery when her husband, Errol's father, Curland Cammack, died in 2003, the New York Post said.

The bedridden woman said in her claim she has discovered that "the plot intended for her was in fact purchased by defendant Cammack in his own name."

Her lawyer said Errol Cammack -- her husband's "surviving son ... by another relationship," who lives in Britain -- has refused to respond to numerous written and verbal requests that the plot be put in her name.

The newspaper said none of the parties involved were willing to comment on the litigation.
