Woman dies in Washington County accident

A 57-year-old woman died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Washington County.

The crash happened about 6:10 a.m. on Route 136 in Carroll when Luann Smedley of Monongahela lost control and struck a hillside, causing her vehicle to roll over, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said.

The cause and manner of her death are pending.
