Dannielle C. Bogle said she felt like a hunted animal Monday after testifying at the trial of alleged madam and former Fayette County Commissioner Susanne Teslovich.

An admitted former prostitute, 21-year-old Bogle testified she went on approximately 25 calls for Teslovich’s business, First Class Entertainment. Most of those visits, she said, involved some type of sex.

After her 45 minutes of testimony, Bogle left the courtroom wearing a sweatshirt, its hood covering her face.

As she waited for an elevator, television and still photographers crowded within inches of her while television reporters volleyed questions.

“Was Susanne your pimp?” asked one.

“You said some pretty raunchy things on the stand. Why are you being silent now?” asked another.

“It made me feel like I was the one who was in the wrong. I felt like prey,” Boyle said.

After her testimony, Bogle sat calmly in an office, away from the cameras, and said hard times drove her to earn a living via prostitution.

“I was pregnant and I didn’t have anywhere to go. I was backed up against the wall and I didn’t have any money.

“Now, if I had it to do over again, I’d live on the street and eat garbage rather than lowering myself to that,” she said.

In hindsight, Bogle said she no longer looks at Teslovich’s job offer as an opportunity in a tough spot.

“I feel she’s a pig, and she takes advantage of people that were vulnerable,” she said.

After repeated questions, Bogle said she had conventional sexual intercourse only once during her employment with Teslovich.

“The guy wouldn’t let me leave, and I was afraid for my life,” she said.

However, she said most of the calls involved some type of sexual activity.

Bogle said she now has better self-esteem and is attending a local college with an eye toward eventually obtaining a degree in nursing or criminal justice.

“She (Teslovich) put me down, and now I’m bringing myself back up,” said Bogle.
