Filming is under way in Spain on the Disney Channel's made-for-TV movie "The Cheetah Girls 2," it was reported Tuesday.

The sequel to the popular movie based on a series of books about a young pop group will mark the return of stars Raven-Symone, Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan, the New York Post reported.

The sequel follows the quartet to the Barcelona music festival where they cross paths with a singer portrayed by Mexican pop star Belinda Peregrin and chaos ensues, the Post said. It will mark the first English-language role for Peregrin.

The film, being choreographed and directed by "High School Musical" director Kenny Ortega, is scheduled to debut on the cable channel in August.
