British soccer fans have voted New Order's 1990 hit "World in Motion" as the best World Cup theme song.

Littlewoods Pools polled 1,500 fans, asking them to name their favorite World Cup song, the BBC reported Monday. The second most popular choice was the BBC's theme for the 1990 World Cup finals, "Nessun Dorma," the BBC said.

"Three Lions '98" by The Lightning Seeds featuring David Baddiel and Frank Skinner was third followed by "Vindaloo" by Fat Les at No. 4.

The worst World Cup anthems were "This Time (We'll Get It Right)" by the 1982 England World Cup Squad and the Spice Girls' 1998 "(How Does It Feel To Be) On Top Of The World."
