Woman crashes through convenient store ceiling in failed burglary attempt
What goes up must come down.
A woman in Canada fell through a convenience store ceiling during a failed burglary attempt earlier this week while she was trying to evade police in Canada.
The Canadian Broadcasitng Corporation reported the only signs of the incident were two missing ceiling tiles and a slightly bent metal shelf — and surveillance footage.
Video shows a woman fall through the ceiling and crash-land atop a shelf knocking over several items. She gets to her feet, with one shoe missing, and appears to realize the jig is up.
She then raises her hands in the air, slowly walks to the end of the aisle and lays prone on the floor as police surround her with guns drawn.
She was arrested without incident, the CBC reported.
Police told the station that the 29-year-old woman was accompanied by a 28-year-old man to attempt the heist.
He had to be Tasered and wrestled to the ground by the cops after a brief tussle and running in between aisles to distance himself from the responding officers.
