Wrestler Kurt Angle, ex-girlfriend to avoid each other

Professional wrestler Kurt Angle and his former girlfriend agreed before a Family Court judge Monday to stay away from each other, defense attorney Michele Santicola said.

The woman, in turn, agreed to drop the protection-from-abuse order that she filed after the couple fought in August inside the home they shared in Moon. Angle still faces a preliminary hearing today on charges of simple assault and harassment that were filed after that incident, Santicola said.

Angle, 40, was cleared earlier of charges that he stalked his former girlfriend at Robinson Towne Center after the initial fight. Prosecutors dropped charges claiming that he illegally possessed human growth hormone and was driving with a suspended license.
