Congratulations are in order for Ralph R. Reiland, the Trib’s Monday contributing columnist. Reiland, an associate professor of economics at Robert Morris University and a local restaurateur, has won a 2004 Ronald Reagan Republican Gold Medal Award for his support of the Republican Party, for outstanding leadership in business and for displaying a commitment to President Reagan’s vision for an entrepreneurial America. The National Republican Congressional Committee gives out the awards each year to a select group of business and professional people.
