MOUNT PLEASANT - A 20-year-old Mount Pleasant woman died as a result of injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident which occurred Saturday on Water Street in Mount Pleasant Township. State police at Greensburg said Jamie Marker, a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead by Westmoreland County Deputy Coroner Gerald Fritz at approximately 7:40 p.m. According to police, the accident occurred at 6:10 p.m. when a vehicle operated by Susan Crouch, 20, of Champion, failed to negotiate a left hand curve and struck a utility pole. The accident occurred near Bridgeport Dam. Police said an investigation is continuing. According to police Crouch was not injured. However, three other passengers in the vehicle sustained moderate injuries. The passengers included Amanda Billeaudeau, 20, of Connellsville; Buddy White, 21, of Mount Pleasant and Dawn DiMartino, 22, of Mount Pleasant.
