They teamed up for an Amazing Kids workshop at the district's middle school as a way to help students reach out to and interact with classmates who have disabilities. We believe most kids are compassionate and want to include their disabled classmates but often simply don't know how. This program — which should be in every school — gives them the tools and confidence to do what they probably wanted to do anyway: become friends with a fellow student who wants desperately to feel included.
