On the ‘Watch List’: Tarentum’s Rite Aid space

The chain says the 411 Corbet St. drugstore will close Feb. 28 “due to performance.” Tarentum's mayor says it has “been a staple in the community for a long time” — as a Thrift Drug, then an Eckerd, then a Rite Aid — and its closing will hurt residents who can't reach other stores, but Rite Aid will help market the space.

Here's hoping a new tenant, at least as useful as the drugstore, opens there soon.
