It’s exactly the same menace.” There are idiots and then there are idiots. … We constantly hear from the left about the supposedly “obscene” amount of money spent on political campaigns. But as the Institute for Justice reminds, while we spent about $7 billion on campaigns in the 2012 election cycle, Americans spent $8 billion more that year on Halloween. … The Internal Revenue Service tells The New York Times that it will curtail the practice of, without any allegation of a serious crime, seizing the assets of business owners and wage earners. Curtail the practice? How about halting it entirely and the IRS being charged with theft? Good grief, talk about absolute tyranny. Send your pitchforks to the IRS at 1111 Constitution Ave. NW 5480, Washington, D.C. 20224. … Republicans appear to be measuring the U.S. Senate’s windows for their new majority curtains. And while they indeed appear to be on the verge of re-taking the upper chamber in Tuesday’s election and ending America’s long Harry Reid nightmare, we remind them that they must lead. Now there’s a novel concept, eh?
