Popular vote & Founders

Donald Trump didn’t lose the popular vote; Hillary Clinton had a plurality, not a majority of 50 percent plus one vote. The most she would deserve is a runoff election, which our Founders, who fought to give you freedom, did not want (yeah, I know that it was rocky for some at the start of the country; grow up, because it is pretty good today unless you’re a professional protester).

Also, how many illegal immigrants voted Democrat? Enough to give Clinton more popular votes than the president-elect, and that is criminal.

Our Founders wanted a state-by-state election without a spillover of votes from one state going to another. They designed the Electoral College to give the small-population states more power in presidential elections because they have less power than the big-population states regularly, and the Founders were a lot smarter than you are.

I know some will say “So what?” I will say, “Try eating without those little states or keeping your homes warm in the winter without their energy supplies. Try eating your manufactured goods. Maybe you can burn your iPhones to stay warm.”

Additionally, the people in small states or farm areas with small populations can still plow their own fields to grow food for themselves with mules if they must, if you boycott them; you’ll just starve in the reverse and die of thirst because they have the fresh water, too. It’s funny — you liberals are all about pristine nature until the small-population states and people with the most pristine nature vote.
