New Texas Road bridge in Plum now open

A new bridge on New Texas Road in Plum opened on Thursday, May 18, 2017.

The New Texas Road bridge that spans a branch of Plum Creek in Plum reopened to traffic on May 18.

The bridge had been under construction as part of PennDOT’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.

Pugliano Construction Co. Inc. of Pittsburgh replaced the old span with a longer, wider bridge.
