Penn State lands commitment from 3-star kicker

Three-star kicking recruit Alex Barbir on Tuesday committed to play at Penn State, according to a post on his Twitter account.

Scout.com lauded the move by the Nittany Lions, who secured the commitment despite Barbir having had already committed to Rutgers.

Rivals listed the South Forsyth (Ga.) High kicker having received offers from Navy, Illinois and Louisville, among others.
