Visitation and funeral arrangements have been made for former West Virginia head coach Bill Stewart, who died from a heart attack Monday.

A public viewing will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 24 at the Morgantown Event Center in the Waterfront Plaza.

The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 25 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Morgantown with a private mass for family, close friends, coaches and former players. The procession will leave St. Francis de Sales at 2 p.m. for Stewart's hometown of New Martinsville.

There will be an honorary salute at the Magnolia High School football field at 4 p.m. Stewart will be buried at the North View Cemetery in New Martinsville.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Bill Stewart Memorial Community Fund, C/O the Greater Morgantown Community Trust, P.O. Box 409, Morgantown, WV 26507.
