No doubt, much of eastern Pennsylvania was rejoicing when the Bears’ Cody Parkey missed the would-be winning field goal against the Eagles on Sunday night.

But perhaps no one was more elated than Rickie Ricardo, the Eagles’ Spanish play-by-play announcer.

Listen to Ricardo’s call as Parkey’s 43-yard field-goal attempt hit the upright, then the cross bar and back out into the end zone, sealing the Eagles’ 16-15 victory.

Ricardo also was pretty exuberant on Golden Tate’s go-ahead touchdown.

Feel bad for Parkey, if you will. But it’s hard not to be excited for Ricardo, who we aren’t sure got any sleep last night.
