Bill Spina's three run-double in the third inning proved to be the difference in Pasquale's Pizzeria's 4-3 win over Leschak Automotive in Game 1 of a quarterfinal series in the Daily News League on Tuesday.

Ryan Gallagher earned the win, allowing three runs on five hits with three strikeouts and two walks.

The teams are scheduled to play Game 2 at 6 p.m. Wednesday at a site yet to be determined.

South Park 12, Clancy's 2 — Logan Corrigan belted a three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning to give South Park a lead it wouldn't relinquish in Game 1 of a quarterfinal series.

Aaron Lapaglia tossed four innings with four strikeouts to earn the win.

DJ Michalski added three hits and three RBIs, Chad Jacob had three hits and two RBIs, and Ryan Dodson went 3 for 3 with four runs for South Park.

Clancy's Pub will look to even the best-of-three series at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Evans Field in South Park.
