The Boston Renegades were too much for the Pittsburgh Passion on Saturday in the first round of the Women’s Football Alliance Division I playoffs.

The game was even early, but three Boston touchdowns in the second quarter broke the game open en route to a 63-26 victory at West Allegheny High School.

The Passion conclude their season at 7-2. Pittsburgh defeated Boston, 44-41, when the teams met in the regular season.

The Passion answered a pair of first-quarter Renegade touchdowns.

Pittsburgh got on the board with 2 minutes, 6 seconds left in the first quarter as Lisa Horton found Angela Baker for a 5-yard touchdown.

The Passion tied the score 14-14 at the 8:21 mark on the second quarter as Horton again connected with Baker, this time for a score of 20 yards.

The score was Horton’s 30th career postseason touchdown pass and Baker’s 10th career playoff TD catch.

Boston led 35-14 at halftime and extended it to 49-14 in the third quarter before the Passion found the end zone again.

Horton and Rachel Wojdowski paired up for a 6-yard TD pass with 3:32 left in the third to make the score 49-20.

A fourth touchdown pass for Horton, this one for 21 yards to Sharon Vasquez with 9:18 to play, generated the final points for Pittsburgh.

Boston will take on the D.C. Divas in the conference finals July 14.
