A Quebec artist has unveiled a new paint job for goalie Matt Murray’s helmet.
The artist who paints Matt Murray’s mask has unveiled the design the Penguins goalie is going with for the 2018-19 season.

Quebec-based Stephane Bergeron posted a photo of the mask on his Facebook page. Bergeron has been painting masks for Penguins goalies since striking a partnership with Patrick Lalime in 1996. He has painted Marc-Andre Fleury’s masks for years.

Murray’s new design features a streamlined penguin on each side of the mask that is reminiscent of the logo the team used throughout much of the 1990s. Pittsburgh’s skyline is depicted on the front.

Keep up with the Pittsburgh Penguins all season long.
