The Penguins will be without forward Patric Hornqvist for Game 5 -- his second consecutive missed game -- because of an upper-body injury.
Patric Hornqvist will miss a second consecutive game because of an upper-body injury, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said Thursday.

The wing skated before practice at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township but was the only player on the roster who did take part in the session about 16 hours after the Penguins took a 3-1 first-round series lead on the Flyers with a 5-0 Game 4 victory in Philadelphia.

Hornqvist missed that game after presumably suffering an injury late in Game 3.

"He won't play (Friday), but he did skate (Thursday) morning," Sullivan said.

Hornqvist tied with Sidney Crosby for third on the team during the regular season with 29 goals. He has 17 in 51 postseason games over four seasons with the Penguins.

Dominik Simon took Hornqvist's spot in the lineup and as Crosby's wing during Game 4.

Faceoff for Game 5 is set for 7 p.m. Friday at PPG Paints Arena.
