Adam Johnson scored for the third straight game, but a team of Pittsburgh Penguins prospects went winless at a rookie tournament in Buffalo, losing the finale 10-2 to the host Sabres on Monday afternoon.

Penguins prospects also lost to Boston and New Jersey, being outscored 20-6 in the three-game event.

Johnson, a speedy second-year pro out of Minnesota-Duluth, scored in all three games for the Penguins.

Calen Addison added a goal for the Penguins on Monday. A second-round pick in last June’s draft, the 18-year-old Addison is a promising offensive defenseman prospect.

Keep up with the Pittsburgh Penguins all season long.
