After Bryant made a one-handed catch for a 4-yard touchdown that gave the Steelers a 17-10 lead they carried into halftime of their AFC showdown against the New England Patriots, Smith-Schuster and Bryant reenacted the hard block that Smith-Schuster laid on Cincinnati's Vontaze Burfict during a win at the Bengals on Dec. 4. Smith-Schuster was suspended for the following game as a result of the hit – and the taunt that followed. Smith-Schuster stood over Burfict; he was flagged both for that and for the hit, each a personal foul. Burfict left that game because of a concussion and has not played in the two weeks since. Burfict lunged up at Smith-Schuster and grabbed at his legs when the hit happened. Bryant mimicked that, too. Chris Adamski is a Tribune-Review staff writer. Reach him at cadamski@tribweb.com or via Twitter @C_AdamskiTrib.
