The Pittsburgh Steelers have doubled their number of captains for the 2018 season.

After having two last season, the Steelers increased the number to four by announcing quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, center Maurkice Pouncey, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and kicker Chris Boswell as captains.

It is the eighth consecutive season and 10 th time overall that Roethlisberger has been named a captain. Pouncey is a captain for the second time; he previously held the title in 2013.

Heyward was named for the fourth consecutive season, and the nod for Boswell was the first in his career.
