Shazier has been at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center since suffering a spinal injury in the first quarter of Monday's 23-20 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. Shazier had a CT scan and an MRI exam. He did not have surgery . Doctors have said Shazier could return to Pittsburgh on Wednesday or Thursday after additional evaluation. In a statement released Tuesday, doctors said that Shazier would receive more treatment at a UPMC hospital when he is cleared to leave Cincinnati. Renatta Signorini is a Tribune-Review staff writer.
