KANSAS CITY – Ben Roethlisberger will have to wait at least another week to return to the field.

The Steelers have officially ruled Roethlisberger inactive for Sunday's game against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium allowing Landry Jones to make his first career start. Practice squad receiver Tyler Murphy was activated on Sunday to the 53-man roster and will serve as Jones' backup.

Roethlisberger is four weeks removed from suffering a sprained MCL and bone bruise against the Rams. He practiced in a limit capacity this week for the first time since his injury and was listed questionable on the injury report.

Roethlisberger could return next week against division-leading Cincinnati.

Jones completed 8 of 12 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns in the second half last week replacing Mike Vick, who is out with a hamstring injury.
