Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster scores past the Vikings' Harrison Smith during the second quarter Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Heinz Field.
Juju Smith-Schuster's first NFL catch was a memorable one.

The rookie wide receiver took a shovel pass from Roethlisberger and followed his blockers for a 4-yard touchdown with 13 minutes, 31 seconds left in the second quarter.

Smith-Schuster said the play is designed to make the defense think he's coming at them, then he comes back and takes the pass.

"I'm the guy on that call,'' Smith-Schuster said. "All I remember is my receivers coach (Richard Mann) telling me to be an actor. 'You're from California, right?' I said, 'Yeah.'

" 'All right, be an actor and get the ball and score a touchdown.' ''
