Steelers coach Mike Tomlin spoke Tuesday about the way the team handled the national anthem Sunday.

He absolved left tackle Alejandro Villanueva for standing alone for the national anthem and defended his decision to be on the field with three assistant coaches while his team, minus Villanueva, stood inside a tunnel at Soldier Field in Chicago.
