Predicted hurricane postpones WVU game at N.C. State this week
Because Hurricane Florence is expected to impact weather conditions in the North Carolina this weekend, the West Virginia at N.C. State football game has been postponed for Saturday.
N.C. State has worked in partnership with University leadership, West Virginia University officials, the Atlantic Coast Conference and emergency management personnel to arrive at a decision in the best interests of the safety and well-being of fans, student-athletes and all parties involved.
There is no word on if this game will be rescheduled. Details will be communicated at a later date.
WVU (2-0) is ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press Poll and 15 in the Coaches Poll. N.C. State (2-0) is unranked by receiving votes.
