Dorothy and Edward 'Midgie' Moskala with their daughter, Connie, in 1950 at Kennywood. Edward Moskala was a longtime employee of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport plant.

Kennywood is one of the oldest amusement parks in the United States and many of the historic attractions are still enjoyed today. According to the park's website , Kennywood was founded in 1898 by the Monongahela Street Railway Company.

The website The Duquesne Hunky lists Kennywood's Sunlight Pool as "THE most awesome pool ever."
