A Monroeville man was arrested on drug charges after police said he admitted that the heroin stamp bags marked with “MASTER Mind” found in his black leather wallet at the Monroeville Department of Public Works break room belonged to him.
Police said Theodore H. Pioth III, 48, told them he snorts heroin and admitted to using two bags a day.
According to the criminal complaint, public works employees found the wallet in the building's break room on May 30. When employees tried to figure out who the wallet belonged to, they noticed “a packet of something.”
“The wallet contained six stamp bags of heroin marked with ‘MASTER Mind' in red ink, an empty stamp bag with the same marking and a straw,” wrote Derek Yohman, the arresting officer with Monroeville Police.
The driver's license found in the wallet belonged to Pioth.
It's not known how Pioth's wallet ended up in the break room or what role, if any, he has in the public works department.
Monroeville public works director Mike Adams and police chief Doug Cole did not immediately return calls seeking comment.
