D4L’s “Laffy Taffy” shot up to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this week, dethroning Mariah Carey’s “Don’t Forget About Us.” “Laffy Taffy” also held down the No. 1 on the Hot Digital Songs chart while Carey’s single plunged to No. 7 on the Hot 100. Chris Brown’s “Run It!” maintained its position on the Hot 100 at No. 2 and was No. 2 on the Pop 100. Nickelback’s “Photograph” held down No. 3 on the Hot 100 but jumped from No. 4 to No. 1 on the Pop chart. Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” featuring Jamie Foxx was No. 4 on the Hot 100 while Nelly’s “Grillz” featuring Paul Wall, Ali and Gipp was No. 5 followed by The Black Eyed Peas’ “My Humps” at No. 6. The Pussycat Dolls’ “Stickwitu” was the Hot 100’s No. 8 while Fall Out Boy’s “Dance, Dance” broke into the Top 10, rising from No. 15 to No. 9.
