Route 28 was closed northbound for more than three hours in Millvale on Saturday afternoon in the wake of a multi-vehicle crash.

No information was available concerning the condition of crash victims.

PennDOT spokesman Steve Cowan said a road crew was called to the scene at about 1:20 p.m.

By 5 p.m., the highway was open but the northbound on-ramp at Millvale's Exit 3 remained shut down.

No other information was immediately available.
