A PennDOT front loader works on modifying the concrete medians after a vehicle crash that shut down Route 28 northbound at the Millvale interchange at about 1:45 p.m. for about 2 1/2 hours Saturday, May 14, 2016.
Route 28 was closed northbound for more than three hours in Millvale on Saturday afternoon in the wake of a multi-vehicle crash.
No information was available concerning the condition of crash victims.
PennDOT spokesman Steve Cowan said a road crew was called to the scene at about 1:20 p.m.
By 5 p.m., the highway was open but the northbound on-ramp at Millvale’s Exit 3 remained shut down.
No other information was immediately available.
