Jake Ondich aided West Shamokin's cause with a goal. Andrew Hyrcza and Tyler Deschants scored goals for Aquinas Academy.

At New Bethlehem, Redbank Valley's girls soccer team opened its season with a dominating win. Lacey Blose scored four goals, three of which were unassisted, and teammate Nadina Kundick scored twice. The Lady Bulldogs outshot the Lady Cats, 38-11.
